In a 12 round fight, and Hagler purposely fights "orthodox" which effectively loses the first 4 rounds for himself. Hagler may be a great MW, but "math" isn't his forte'.

Yeah, i'll go Tommy Ryan too. Jack Dempsey. There might be one or two others, guys that are aggressive who would have come straight too Hagler but might not have been able to out-punch him due to his chin. I'm not saying their names though, people will just go weird.

As that was the worst version of Hagler, can we add names of top 20 middleweights where we judge them by the worst they ever looked? Becomes a much longer list if we can.

While this much is true, he's going to need Leonard's rare speed, mobility and showman's ship too to thwart Hagler.

"Vito I" was known for his hand-speed, footwork, and boxing skills. Hagler of course pulled the same type of mental lapses against Duran too. Puposely putting himself in the position of "close" fights.

He'd have chugged past some of the come forward fighters.

Slap up your top 20 list and if it's decent we'll see if we can figure a couple out.

Cerdan, if he's on it, would be victimised I think. Tiger Flowers might be able to dominate the action but I could see him getting knocked out.
