Nah he's not. Not far off, but not quite.

But hey, Oscar is the better fighter. Talk about taking someone to school! But let me guess... you scored the fight for Tito?

History says that Roy Jones won silver. :rofl
History says that Chavez drew with Pernell. :rofl
History says that Oscar beat Sturm. :rofl
History says that Tito beat Oscar. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

a potshotting mayweather would befuddle tito like most of the movers tito has faced. though it's not a guaranteed win as 147 was'nt mayweathers best weight. williams? depends on how he fight i guess. clottey's defense is tight and has got a good chin, but i still think tito wins. i love cotto but he gets sparked. berto and judah get absolutely sparked. cintron gets sparked too. margarito is custom made for trinidad to look good against, he gets KO'ed late. contrary to what some have been saying here, you dont take punches over 12 rds from a proven hitter at 2 (would'nt be a stretch to say 3) weight classes, and make it to the 12th.

Jake Lamotta says otherwise. Rocky Marciano says otherwise. Evander Holyfield says otherwise. Julio Cesar Chavez says otherwise. These guys were pressure fighters who took heavy shots from proven punchers (for example: Robinson, Moore, Tyson, Rosario respectively) and kept coming. YES, Margarito's chin is not as proven as theirs, however, you cannot deny it is a very good chin. One advantage of being a pressure fighter is that you close the distance and the heavy hitter can't get their best shots off. Just look at how Hatton neutralized Kostya Tszyu's power when he was the P4P hitter of the time.

Not at all. I didn't say Margarito beats Hearns, Tito, Hoya, and the great 147lb fighters of the past, but he would probably see the 12th in all of them. That isn't overrating, that's giving just due.

Margarito eats left hooks for breakfast, Clottey could feasibly have the same success against Tito that Winky had, and PBF boxes circles around him.

Other than that your on to something.

Whats to joke about. I'm sure prime for prime that Tito would be a heavy favorite over Clottey but all REAL boxing fans know and understand that styles make fights and Clottey's style would presents a difficult puzzle to Tito. And considering that Clottey's never been Koed and I can't recall a time where he's ever been hurt, I think the poster is completely off base.

tito ko margo ?? dont think so... mayweather maybe ... cotto dont think so ...
tito was clearly outboxed by a much more skilled oscar... but oscar always preferred the losses to make more money...
