Yeah. From lmao clay humiliated and scholeD him in every aspect, i think that. Clay even outmuscled him, the young man did show. That despite his. Slim physique, he had more functional physical STRENGTH than liston, ali was better in everything. Liston would have been a loser in the 70s. Between full sized and skilled hws

The era OF liston ended with the 185 -190 pounders hws, he ruled the place with small fragile guys or decent sized bums. He never did what foreman or tyson did, destroying full sized and great hws, joe frazier was a pitbull, just the people WHO met him know as strong was physically this guy, huge head and neck, he was robust like hell, hhe broke bones OF the FACE OF a caveman ñike chuvalo, he was that strong and foreman was simply amazing, he was not normal.. Morrison was an animal and he said that he could not trade with a guy that big and that strong, and remember that he did not respect ruddock or Lewis like he did with foreman

And tyson did put TO fly guys WHO were bigger and heavier than liston, imagine the poor patterson with foreman or tyson in front OF him. Killed in seconds and. I would fear for his life

    And the winners are -

    1970
    1971
    1972
    1973
    1974
    1965
    1966
    1967
    1968
    1969

The most interesting, and closest, one would be 1964 v 1974. In my humble opinion the '74 version nicks it by wafer thin decision

1965 is when the younger one starts winning.
Some will say 1964, or even '63, but I think 1965 v 1975 is where it swings to the youngster.

Clay 64 would make his 74 versión look ponderous. And slow like a turtle, clay wins by Ud, 63 clay was too green

Ali was still very fast in '74. Maybe not quite as fast as his '64 incarnation but still very fast for a heavyweight.

Cassius needed that victory over Liston the first time out to fully develop as a fighter.

He not need this. Fight for nothing, he owned liston easily, so it was not any proof that improved him, he was the same fighter in the begining and the end OF this fight, it was not any the RUMBLE in the jungle

Ali was still growing physically at this point. Take a look at the slight difference in his physique in Liston I & II. Even though he was five pounds lighter in the rematch he looked broader in the shoulders and chest. At the end of the first fight,he then KNEW he was the greatest
