There is no reason to think Hopkins didn't want to perform the best he could, he's a proud guy and an arrogant *******. Unless you are an illogical hater and can't accept Calzaghe may have actually had the nerve to make things difficult rather than Hopkins for some unknown reason deciding not to punch.

Hopkins started the Cal fight like he did at the weekend, it was the change Joe made in the 5th that won it, nothing else.
