Oscar De La Hoya never cherry picked, he fought every one. Mayweather was a warrior when he was young, but since he fought DLH he has ducked plenty of fighters. That is why he will not fight Canelo and will look to fight some one like Khan.

thats bs..pac was lesser than floyd in terms of value, pac beat the guy who ktfo pac and mayweather earns more than pac, even draws more than pac. Everyone not new to boxing knows that, and the testing was the real issue in the first place.

Floyd takes the highest paid/easy fight. And that's the differance.

Canelo was the highest paid fight. But the highest paid easy fight was Ghost.

There was a time when Margo was the highest paid fight. But the highest paid easy fight was Baldomir.

So that's the differance. but it does prove to be a better way of doig it financially because floyds raking it in now.

floyd makes his fights look easy, if he were fighting different fighters to the ones he fought his haters would cry duck anyways. Every fight he shows to people he is levels above his opponents. He fought cotto at his best weight, when cotto was the best at 154(even better than canelo was at that time)

 

Floyd hasn't had a "soft touch" since Sharmba Mitchell...and that was a move up in weight so you would have to go back to Gatti or Bruseles
