First of all,i belive Kesslers injury is the truth.I have watched several interviews with Kessler after he and his trainer and promoter told the media he had to leave Super 6 and retire. The eye injury is "old" but now he can loose his sight if he continues sparring/fighting.
I think he would make more money AS the WBC champ VS. Green, because it IS THE super 6,broadcast all over the world.
If he could return to the ring and get a fight against the WBC champ,he will be challenger,it will not be in the super 6,AND he might fight for peanuts just to get the fight!!
Why not fight Green as the WBC champ in the super 6 if he was faking anything???easy fight-easy money!!! Kessler is injuried and i dont think we will ever see him fight again, sadly.

Henrik do you belive that dirrel is faking or not?

By the time their is a supersixwinner that particular fighter will be fighting on ppv and warant a high purse to display their skills so of course he would get more especially due to the fact that he could demand upwards of 40%

Is kessler ppv attraction in his native country?

As noted above, I have a hard time believing Kessler would fight Calzaghe, Ward, and Froch, yet duck the one-dimensional Miranda.

The Miranda that faced Abraham the first time? Debatable. Miranda now? I agree with you. He is shot.

    More BS double standards.

A man says he is injured you take him at his word. It is that simple. The Boxer loses more than we the fans do. He avoids a fight, but he also avoids a payday.

Why is it that you guys find that so hard? Instead you throw out constant double standards that one can't help to think are based on bigotry. :think

To be honest,i dont know mutch about Dirrell´s injury, but why back out of a big tounanment if you could make loads of money??
every fighter knew they would fight eachother when they started. And all of them makes huge paydays,so EVERYBODY should be happy fighting eachother.
And Kessler is a BIG attraction here in denmark..But we are only 5-6 mill. people living here so i dont know how many ppv he can make here...:p
but it´s not Mayweather numbers for sure:lol:

Well for one if he lost again on his way to the supersix final which is very likely due to the calibre of his next opponents he wont gain emetrius status.

You can only gan this by retiring as wbc champion or vacating but you will not be eligible for this if you lose it, therefore kessler would have to work his way back up the ladder again.

Therefore he vacates now and automatically has a fight against the top man with more money (ppv), this is a real possibility.

    :deal:good

This is of course the scenario that is most likely if he has faked that injury
