Everybody keeps talking bout Margo's handwraps, what happened to his CHIN?

The left hook that Mosley caught Margo with after they were broken up in the last 16 seconds of the eighth was a hell of a shot. It was the same shot the ko'd mayorga. Margarito's chin isnt in question, it was just the ferocity and accuracy of Mosley's punches.

 

Its not hard to understand...Shane put his punches TOGETHER and continued to apply more pression as the bout progressed unlike Cintron who was hitting him with one shot at a time and Cotto who began to run....

 

he was getting blasted with power shots for 9 rounds straight. i dont care how iron chinned you are, that ammount of shots will spark anyone.

 

That's just subjective. It is not like his power is measured or something.
Cintron surely isn't faster than Mosley. Speed = power + Mosley leaned his whole body in his punches and also went great to the body which must've had its effects.

 

When you try to defend your body and 160 weight person hits you (who leans into his shots with full leverage) you should go down, atleast if you get hit by those shots enough times. Watch Richardson in the corner saying "go back to his body again, let him remember what took his energy away in the first place".
Even Bernard was screaming "body" before first knockdown.

 

Shane was hitting Margarito with right hands all night. The type of blows that make you just cringe during replays. If anything, the fight just reinforces how good Antonio's chin is. I don't need to be redundant cuz other posters have already pointed out the body attack that was the real catalyst in Margarito's defeat.

Shane loaded up the fight and hit Margarito repeatedley. A lesser man would have crumbled far sooner. His chin was and still is top notch. There is only so much punishment a man can take you know....atsch
