    ITV used to put on all the big fights back in the day. Benn-Eubank, Benn-McClelland, Watson-Eubank...they did huge numbers. UTV is the Northern Irish arm of ITV.

    See, to me the French are pompous, uppity, pretentious, and definitely way into themselves but I don't know that you can say they have the same type of arrogance the old hippie meant. Their hubris regarding their art, cuisine, academia, prowess as lovers, etc. is widely renowned - but they don't have that "alpha" thing going on that Danes have.     Theirs is a more angst-ridden, whiny, "Look at us, damn it! Sacre bleu! We are special! :|" type of pride than "we are the Übermensch & you are dirt beneath our heels :D" that Danes project.
