Everybody wants Maidana, Nobody wants Rios. Why?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Apocolypse313, Aug 24, 2015.

  1. Everyone in 147 wants to fight Maidana after to 2 Mayweather bouts. Is it because he is seen as a star now? Before that fight nobody wanted to fight the guy. Now they want to fight him to make a statement if they survive the fight.

Brandon Rios on the other hand has relatively fought no one after his bout with Pacquiao. In fact no one wants to fight anybody after Manny is done with them outside of Marquez who Manny has never really beaten.

Look at every one who wanted a piece of Guerrero after Floyd. Same will happen with Berto. Nobody wants to fight Bradley who is arguably the best fighter at 147. Algieri was a cherry pick gone wrong for Khans weak ass.

Very sad life for Rios. Very sad life for many fighters after Pacquiao. After Floyd people live great lives.

Brook wanted him but Rios turned it down. He made up all sorts of lies to avoid the fight.

Bradley wanted him but he wanted too much money.

Provodnikov wants him. Rios in radio silence.

Because Rios didn't win a single round over Pacquiao and is considered by many a punching bag?

...Or they should fight each other. :hey

    Forgot about Abril!:good

Would also argue that the rubber match with Alvarado wasn't as spectacular as it was made out to be due to the problems Alvarado was having during that time. :bart
