Everybody wants Maidana, Nobody wants Rios. Why?

    On the gloves point, I don't really care either way. As long as it's agreed upon mutually in negotiations, and not decided last minute like in the Maidana situation.

    Yes, I believe that's the only way Brook v Rios could've happened for the money that Rios was requesting. In the UK it would be PPV with HBO afternoon backing in America. If Brook was fighting at 4 in the morning in the UK it wouldn't have been PPV over here (or of it was it would've made nothing). Basically Rios was the biggest name fighter on both sides of the pond they felt they could get to the UK.

    It looks like now Brook will do a co PPV event on the Fury v Klitschko night now, either against Chaves (who they have agreed terms with) or Provodnikov (who has also more or less agreed but also looking at other options).
