This is the video which explains it down and after using this video i find my punches have more flow and there much more snappier and faster and powerful and the way it works is you twist your foot and knee then your hips then you throw the punch :) and what are you opinions on this

i know he is over doing it in the video but what to you think of it

    Thank you

Yes thats a perfect example and if you try it it feels much stronger and faster
and i was shocked becuase the amount of power you get from it
thanks for the video, even if you try it yourself you will feel the differnce even using it to throw the uppercut and right hand

Yeah definitely. Can just feel the power go through the shoulder, then an opponent would feel it too!

That is about the best explanation of how to throw a hook that I have seen on-line. However, it is far from a new concept, as it has been taught that way for over a century. Edwin L Haislet taught it that way in his book written in 1940. It works the same way for the right hand, uppercuts, etc...First the feet, then the hips, then the shoulder, then the fist.

Haislet's book is called either "Boxing" or "On Boxing." I've read that it is available on-line to download, free, but I have no idea where.

That's how a hook is supposed to be thrown... So, throw it that way.
