we all know how GSP chin is. Anderson has the most accurate striking in mma today. it wouldnt take much for anderson to KO him. Everyone knows GSP won't be KO'ing anderson in a fight. If gsp were to take anderson down what do u think he gonna do there? Not a damn thing. No one has taken anderson down and won.

Can anderson KO'd GSP. Yes. Anderson can take a beating. You saw the Sonnen fight. GsP can't
    Can anderson Submit GSP. Yes.
    Can anderson GnP GSP. Yes

    Can GSP ko anderson. NO
    can GSP submit anderson. NO
Can gsp GnP anderson. Maybe but highly doubt it.

GsP only has 1 way to win and its to take him down. Maybe lay and pray. If GsP were to win it would be by decision and thats it.
    anderson can win anyway possible

This fight is a little crazy for me. For one, Silva is a mssive MW... he could make HW if he wanted! He is a LHW for sure and he proved that against Griffin.

GSP is the daddy... THE DADDY! But at WW... he will be outsized at MW. HE could beat and will beat most of the best MW fighters out there but Silva?.. No.

He wouldn't get spanked, but he would get stopped.

Shields is going to be a very tough firght for GSP though. Jake is not that great at WW as he is far too small and loses his best asset (Strengh).

At MW i'd pick Jake but at WW i think GSP can take a SD over him. It will be his toughest but most well deserved win!

Yeah, it's so easy to tag GSP isnt it?
Sonnen won most of the exchange for god sake! Silva is looks incredible standing vs guy who are SLOW as molasse like griffin, franklin, henderson! GSP has speed too, and he is very quick with his footwork to be away from Silva's range.
GSP can't sub SIlva but Silva can:nut:nut:nut Silva tapped a gassed out Lutter whos ****in overrated, Hendo who was nearly knocked out, and Sonnen who has 8 submissions defeats! GSP got armbarred by Hughes, ok, GSP did armbar him after, he was green. GSP makes opponent BJJ looks weak. Silva got triangled by TakaseIpoor fighter) so hes not invincible.
When did you see GSP lay and pray?? you stupid hater, vs BJ he worked him until he quits, he smashed Fitch's face, same thing vs Thiago, the only one he didnt work was Hardy, and that was because he wanted a sub badly.
GSP wasnt able to keek Koscheck down, but Silva isnt Kos. Once Silva has his back on the ground, he can't do anything until the round is over like we saw vs Henderson, Sonnen. GSP wouldnt get Triangled, swept by Silva. GSP is the best guard passer in MMA.

And do I really need to say that GSP WILL take him down easily?

Shields won't win a round, let alone a minute.
Shields had a hard time to bring Kampmann down.. GSP will TKO him since Shields WILL gass unlike Kos, and GSP won't fear Shields standing since he has no power, no accuracy, and is like the worst standing fighter, apart from Aoki

When did this weak chin rumor started from?? Serra hit GSP on the back of his head and Georges lost his equilibrium. Hes been hit flushed again and he barely budged.
I believe Fitch hit him a couple of times and so did Alves and he didnt flinch.

GSP will make Silva his *****. He will grab him take him down and keep him down. If Sonnen managed some gnp on Silva, just think what GSP would do. GSP is the GOAT, winning a round against him should earn a bonus from Dana.

    Bonne année!

I hope Vera gets KTFO and this would be the last time we see him.

BJ is the GOAT if he beats Fitch but GSP is even beyond GOAT. Hes in a different category. Hes the nicest guy in the sport and you cant win a minute against him. Hes still entering his prime which is scary.

Can you believe Lemieux said Crosby is even better than him?

I think it's way too hard to predict a clear winner on this one. Both of these guys are extremely well rounded and we know anything can happen in mma. GSP is very elusive and always has solid gameplans. I don't think anyone in the world ever imagined Sonnen could knockdown Silva and he did it more than once. GSP can be very accurate and fast.

On the other hand, of course, Silva is an amazing fighter, incredible stand up and very good ground game. could clearly knockdown GSP, but on the ground, I don't see GSP being submitted.

Considering GSP is probably not going to MW for a while still, the day he does, he'll be bulked up and the weight difference probably isn't going to be that bad. IMO there's way too many scenarios possible here to call a sure winner. :bbb

This GSP having a weak chin stuff is crap. Yes he can get knocked out but so can anyone, the idea that he's a 170lb version of Keith Jardine is bull**** that's come from the UFC over playing the loss to Serra in attempt to make him seem beatable when facing guys like Hardy who realistically have no chance.

I want to see this fight happen. There's a lot of unknowns, how much size will decrease GSP's ability to get the takedown being the main one. GSP's stand up is good enough for him to hang with Silva on the feet if he's able to get the takedown but if he can't get it then Silva will likely win a UD or maybe get a tko. If he can get the takedown regularly I would expect GSP to win a UD, don't see Silva submitting him like he did Sonnen who I was amazed didn't get subbed before the fifth.

The big difference in the fight would be in their striking power, at which Silva has a huge, huge edge. He's actually knocked out fighters while backing up, something that's extremely hard to do.

And being a proud Canadian it's not something I would say unless I truly believed it, and if the fight did happen, I'd be cheering for GSP.

Yeah but Anderson cuts down to 185 so when he's rehydrated he could be around the 210 mark atleast

Silva is alot of bigger and a very dangerous striker but I'm relying on GSP to produce a sensational performance in controlling Silva.

St. Pierre cuts to 170Ibs though and he's been bulking up for some time in prep. for a move up in weight. He's already 195Ibs and would probably be 200Ibs if and when he stepped into the Octagon for a Middleweight Title fight. While Silva would still have a weight advantage it'd probably be around 15Ibs max.
