Everyone calls Wlad great, but why hasn't he fought Valuev or James Toney?

    James Toney?

When exactly should he have gone out of his way to fight this fat cruiser? After one fight at heavy against Holy? Ya im sure that would have went over well. After he got suspended for Steroids in his most significant win? Or maybe the other time he was suspended for steroids?

After he was beaten by Peter? or completely outboxed by Peter the second time (If Peter could figure out not to follow James to the ropes in the second fight, and to use his jab and reach effectively against him, even putting james on his damn ass with one, Wlad would have had a field day.
    :-(

James Toney vs Wlad always was, despite what his fans think, a joke of a fight.

And you know what, it probably WOULD have happend if James could mount resonable momentum in the heavyweight division, but the fact is he was never able to do even that, and when it looked like he did finally, he was busted for steroid use.

The ONLY time it would have made ANY sense, was to face toney instead of Rahman, considering both were coming off their NC from eachother.

Fact is James has hardly put TWO WINS IN A ROW in at heavyweight, so please excuse Wlad for not dropping Chagaev, Sultan, Chambers, Peter, Brock, or other undefeated or top contenders within the division to fight him.
