I honestly don't believe that you realize how much the cut affected his performance. . He was blinded in one from the 4th round onward.

Also, I am tired of hearing Cotto is a dirty fighter. . The "tackle" is your only chance at trying to say Cotto intentionally committed a foul but I believe that Clottey jumped on top of Cotto and Cotto Threw him off of himself, not intending to drop him.

Is it Cotto's fault that Clottey hooked his arm and turned his back towards him? Thats like a big thing in boxing, Don't turn your back. . Protect yourself at all times. . Cotto didn't intend to hit him behind the head, it barely grazed behind his ear, Props to Clottey though, His acting got you all fooled =p

Also the low blow. . Please -.- How could that even be intentional . . Please someone explain to me why you believe Cotto would cheat in the last round? What purpose would that serve? What does he gain from that?

When has Cotto ever intentionally committed a foul, besides Urkal but ******* deserved it :good

Lol I feel everyone believes Cotto is a "dirty" fight due to the low blows in the Zab Judah fight, How necessary were those low blows seriously? was Cotto on the verge of being put out?

And replays clearly show Judah jumping up causing the low blows. . How can you blame that on Cotto? I'll get some replays.

    Other than that, Name some?

Ok first one at 5:41 in, Tell me that is intentional. . Second at 6:00, You can see Judah push up off Cotto's head, His feet are clearly elevated; Cotto's fault?

    Please stop :)

heres my opinion on the cut, it was bad rounds 4-7, when it was bleeding profously, but after round 7 it seemed ok.....cotto actually engaged more after the cut......I think the cut is getting overplayed a bit.

the only round i feel that the cut cause Cotto to engage was the ending of the third and the whole 4th round.

How can you say it made him engage? when he would have Clottey cornered and back up jsut in order to wipe blood from his eyes. . It was still bleeding after the 7th -.- i think in like the 9ths theres like a river of blood down his cheek.

Overplayed? That man had freakin 3 eyebrows that night. Also it's not only the bleeding he had to worry about, but also a stoppage from the cut getting worst... and don't forget that they hurt like a ***** too

i dont know whats wrong with some people in this forum. Cotto won the fight with one eye and people still ***** that he looked horrible in the fight. He was fighting his 6 top 10 ww in 3 years and still people hate on him. atleast he isnt fighting smaller men or sitting the hole ****ing year trying to fight a small guy.

My overall impression was that the cotto pre-margo/mosley fight....would have won a wider decision over clottey.....i would like to see cotto fight a re-match with clottey, or fight a berto or collazo......maybe he is still trying to get his confidence back from the margo fight....I'm skeptical on it just being the cut....I thought cotto's arsenal was not as sharp and crisp as they once were.....I wouldnt put him in with the big dogs like manny, floyd or mosley for that matter.....and i also want to see him against a nevada athletic commission judge panel out in vegas, and not one from new york on puerto rican weekend.

cotto is known for low blows. period.

havent you seen the corley fight?

and yes, IMO zab was on the verge of at least dropping cotto before the low blow.

Hell, he knocked Clottey down with a jab! If not for the cut he would have had an easy fight.
