Everyone gonna forgive Luis Ortiz for ducking Anthony Joshua?

He'll continue fighting bums with the hope that Wilder will give him a rematch. The way he gassed in 8 rounds against Wilder, I don't blame him for turning down the fight for a six week camp. Ortiz old arse needs a full camp.

 

The payday is not 2mil, its not 3, its 6,5mil atleast.
Pulev was offered 10mil. Ortiz could be offered even more. This is like more then 10 time more than he ever earned.
He is probably on something and know he will pop if he accept the fight.
There isn`t any other normal explanation on why he is not signing the fight yet.
Also its a almost 7 weeks, not 6.

 

He isnt the 1st one and it isnt the 1st time he has had smack to talk about Joshua to then go and turn an opportunity down. It is beginning to feel like Joshua has the division a bit shook of him.

 

I’m sure it’s the case with Kownacki too. A miller team mate, who is nowhere near a mandatory for an AJ payday and would have to potentially wait for 2 years for a shot . By which time he could be beat or the fight or someone loses. It doesn’t make sense to not put yourself forward unless you name is Wilder, Whyte, Fury, Pulev or Usyk.

Anyone else should be jumping at the fight and payday.

Just read that Swedish Heavyweight Otto Wallin (20-0) offered himself to fight, lives in walking distance to MSG and apparently has fought AJ twice in amateurs and sparred alot w/Joshua as well.

 

I thought that he had until next Tuesday to make a decision.

 

At his age it's now or never, if he did decline this fight then he's a fool.

I would assume that Wallin is one of apparent 10 that offered to fight but were turned down by Eddie. Eddie confirmed Trevor Byran was turned down for not having a big enough profile, Hearn confirmed he doesnt view Joyce as a contender yet despite rating him as a fighter. I am assuming both Wallin and Junior Fa are in that group too. All of Hunter, Kabayel and Rivas have bigger reps and have better wins.
