If it's the good version of Linares we get, it will be an excellent, close fight, at least for the first half. The bad version of Linares gets dominated.
I think the the first two rounds will be very close and possibly Linares will edge them, from there on Loma dominates and knocks Linares out in the 10th
Not as confident in Loma in this fight as I was months ago. Can anyone think of a more eye pleasing fight?
I like how everyone is building up Linares so much. Personally I think Loma’s going to take him apart. Linares doesn’t look good when guys circle away from his power hand. He’s open to straight lefts and right jabs. He rarely throws his best punch, the body shot, against southpaws. He doesn’t like pressure. He looked like he wanted to quit in the last three rounds against Gesta. He lost his coach for this fight. He needs to plant his front left foot to throw. He leans in too far sometimes when he throws. He tires in the late rounds. Loma will be faster. Linares has been fighting eurolevel comp since he was stopped twice in 2011 and 2012.
