I hope the fact that the world is watching, puts pressure on judges to score properly and not rob either fighter. Both deserve a fair shake whether its pac who was the better man or Floyd.

 

Agreed. It's a lot of pressure. Mostly for Mayweather. He has the stigma that he is a boring fighter. Manny has the badge that he's one of the most exciting fighters in the sport. That's why I see Floyd changing his stripes for this match up. If Floyd runs and holds like he does a against his hardest opposition, the public outcry will be deafening. And if Floyd wins in that fashion he won't get the credit he wants.

Floyd will risk nothing to protect his 0. 12 rounds of shoulder rolling boredom awaits, the only person who can make this fight entertaining is Manny.

 

Unfortunately due to the anticipation and coverage this has received- anything short of a Hearns-Hagler affair is going to be underwhelming. No way it's going to live up to some of those previous great fights we've come to talk about over the past couple of decades but it's an interesting matchup at least and about time it happened.
