Even though his behavior deserves criticism, it's one of the main reasons he's extremely popular today.
Today are many sicko influencers that are popular or very popular. But dont confuse fame and glory with popularity. Fury can be popular but after last night Usyk got fame and glory because he destroyed a giant with his great tecnique, heart and intelligence.
2 guys throwing slapping arm punches are far above their peers in skill level? If that is the case you see why nobody cares about boxing anymore.
Neither are punchers which is why they got to where they have All the punchers Wilder & AJ are plodding bums in comparison. You name it. HW is plodding slow feet predictable. Fury & Usyk can box CIRCLES around these guys. Lateral movement is off the charts SKILLS PAY THE BILLS Hence why Fury chose to outbox Usyk....both know the game inside out.
Lol Tyson Fury is a giant? Then why didn't anybody call David Price a giant? He is taller than Fury? Why didn't anybody ever refer to Michael Grant, Jorge Luiz Gonzales, Henry Akinwande, Lance Whitaker, Mike White, Stanley Wright giants? They were all between 6'7 to 6'10? Probably because 6'7 isn't a giant and only a casual believes it is.
Finally, someone overcoming their biases and tribalism to talk sense here. I agree. I was Team Usyk, but Fury showed that he's not shot as I and many others suspected he might be, looked dominant in the middle rounds, and recovered from a truly insane onslaught in R9 to stay competitive from that point on (though Usyk clearly took over from there). Respect to both warriors. Yes, the Ukraine comment was stupid, but overall Fury's (so far) been way more gracious than the likes of AJ and Wilder in defeat.
If skills pay the bills then Fury and Usyk bills are far behind. Lol neither has kills. If you think guys getting in the ring throwing slapping arm punches and landing a low percentage of their punches is having skills then you must of just started watching boxing recently and or are a casual.
True, but I still don't see an AJ -style spaz-out even should he lose the rematch. He said one dumb thing among a bunch of perfectly decent things.
Lol yep because you say so. A 40 year old Foreman would of knocked out a 40 year old Wlad. Yet a 20 something year old Fury couldn't do anything but run from a 40 year old Wlad. Another person dismissed. I love this block feature.
Glad you're OK Miniq. I can only imagine how bleak things must seem today for you. It will get better with time though! It was a great fight and both men did themselves proud. Would love to see it again, but don't know if they'll both hang around. Feel for Fury though, he's gone from the guy who people thought could beat any man in history head-to-head to the second best of his own generation... and the best not even being a natural heavyweight. That said, Usyk is some fighter!
So you have not been on here a full month yet and you are already using the block feature ? I think that says more about you than other members .
