We should all give AJ props for ending the dreams of MMA fans and he did what he had to do. But let's all be honest with ourselves: he beat a guy who had about 6 months worth of boxing instruction. Which doesn't make him "the best HW on the planet" as Eddie H has been crowing. Last time I checked, Usyk schooled Johsua so badly he ranted out of his brain post fight. Twice.

That is true. But Joshua has looked very fresh in his last two fights and since working with Davidson.

He got momentum going. He had huge momentum going prior to the first Ruiz fight as well though. Things can chance for the worst quickly.

I’m a Fury fan but tbf Joshua since the second Usyk loss has kept himself busy, kept himself relevant and most importantly looked good whilst doing it,people may criticise his quality of opponents but he did his job and has came back from his two losses with his confidence sky high which is exactly what he needed at this point of his career. Hearn can run his mouth like usual but he is at the end of the day Joshua’s promoter and it’s his job. With the Undisputed having a rematch clause it could well be 2025 before Joshua gets to face either Usyk or Fury so barring an IBF title shot I expect Joshua to keep busy with the same sort of fighters whilst he waits and more than likely a Whyte rematch during this time .

How many want to hype up AJ and yet completely deride Ngannous prospects as a boxer. Which one is it? Seems strange to want to have it both ways

We can match ngannou with Usyk to see how things go. And if he doesnt end up in a wheelchair we can match him later with Wilder. And then with Zhang. And then with Joyce to see how does this poor guy react to a sustained 12 rounds beating instead of a 1 godpower single punch.

If he dies, he dies, **** him. We can always put "the best HW fighter to ever be 0/6/0" epitaph in his grave, probably he will be very glad. Then we all can spend his millions in whores and cocaine to celebrate that he didnt live long enough to spend them.

Only an idiot would think that ngannou is a top world level boxer.

Ngannou KDed Fury twice. Fury had to resort to elbows and excessive clinching in order to receive a highway robbery decision.

AJ folded him like a lawn chair within 2 rounds.

What's the point of your post?

Joshua did what should be done. This hurts Fury more than enhances AJ. However taking apart Wallin was a quality win and I’d like to see AJ take on any big name in the division not named Usyk

    Indeed.

    Fury was unfit.

Yep... He clearly was... And that goes a long way to explain why he performed so badly against Francis - you can't turn up unfit to a fight and assume you'll win unless your opponent is awful.

So what does that make Wilder?
Who lost to unfit Fury in the third fight, and arguably the first as well...

These arguments often go against what the people arguing them would want to have to admit - they just don't realize it.
For Fury fans it massively diminishes the value of the Wilder wins to Fury's resume that he could win whilst unfit - and to Wilder fans clinging to Fury just to big their boy up, it highlights just how overhyped he always was.

If he takes out Hrgovic I'll hold my breath again. He's not fighting Fury unless, after two Usyk matches, Fury takes that match. I'm assuming no one wants to see Usyk-AJ III, certainly no promoter wants it as it's a money loser. So AJ has to stay busy for at least one year.

I think the dreams of most MMA fans was for Ngannou to stay in the UFC and fight Jones and Aspinall. Not run off to another sport while literally being a UFC champion, regardless of how he did in that sport.

As I've said multiple times blame Fury for Joshua having to "fight 0-1 MMA fighter"

Fury gave him clout in boxing when he should've been fighting Usyk, i kept hearing all over social media "a non boxer almost beat the World Heavyweight Champion".

So whilst it isn't a great win obviously because Ngannou isn't an experienced boxer, but it's a good win due to context of Joshua saving boxing's reputation after Fury put a serious dent in it after his abysmal performance.

This. Also ot was all of you who claimed that Ngannou is tough as brick and AJ can't hurt him, let alone KO him with one shot. AJ literally KO him out cold. Ngannou was out for minutes.
Same Ngannou who outboxed Fury and Fury face was a mess, and Ngannou didn't have a mark on his. DAZN poll for the fight was 57-43 for Ngannou to win.
Blame Fury and his fana, not us.
It was the aame story with Wilder and Wallin.

After Ngannou gave Fury hell, he was deemed a world beater on this forum. Now that AJ detailed him, Ngannou is suddenly a nobody.....the hate towards AJ is extreme and ignorant...
