    Not just Fury.

    It's Fury in an unfit and underprepared state.

    So if a bad version of Fury struggled more with Francis than a bad version of Fury struggled with Wilder (3) - does that suggest Wilder isn't very good?

    Of course.

    I always thought Wilder was a hypejob - excuses weren't needed, he just wasn't very good... And how ridiculous those excuses were was hilarious.

    It's strange that he didn't... He's not normally one for false modesty or doing his opponent many favours - and he was very obviously out of shape in that fight.

    Great points. For me it's the optics. Fury fans state he is the greatest, pundits claim his the man at heavy, then he drags out the unification fight with Usyk, then looks horrible against a guy he should have boxed circles around. AJ comes along and destroys Ngannou inside of 2. Not a very good look. But I cannot argue the points you've made.
