    Yeah, I agree with this.

    I'm a huge Margarito fan and always will be but, honestly, I can't complain about the stoppage. I was worried about his eyesight in the fight and I want to see him fight in the future.

    However, the key point is whether the doctors stopped the fight because his eye was shut or whether it was because he had suffered more damage to the orbital bone. If it was simply because the eye was shut, then I disagree with the stoppage. However, if it was because of the bone, then I'm glad.

    I personally feel they could have let it go on. I'm a huge Cotto fan and wanted to see Cotto stop him. But it is what it is. But on the flip side I didn't see any Margo fans showing any sympathy to Cotto based on the possibility that Marg used loaded wraps on him. Just defending Margarito. The eye was swollen shut and Margarito wasn't doing anything to show he was coming on so the stoppage isn't the worst I've seen.

    Margo is a warrior, mad respect to him. Guy could lose both arms and he would still carry on fighting. He was trolling cotto in there, laughing at his punches n never stopped believing he could win.

    time for margarito to retire before he dies in the ring. i'd be surprised if he lived 10 more years as it is.

    What truth? That Cotto won? Nobody denies that. What's in question is the stoppage. Margo might not have been able to do anything in the last three rounds or he might have, it's boxing after all and anything can happen. The thing is that they stopped do his eye, but it wasn't even that bad. He was begging to continue not kneeling down and giving up. You guys hate Margo so much, but care more about his eye than he does.:huh
