    on ESB...

    Is there any fighter who the whole ESB board actually agrees did not pad his resume with bums, fight fighters passed prime, or duck his best opponents?

    Who is the most universally loved boxer of "modern times" (that is post early 80's) on ESB?

    Not a chance....according to the ESB universe ALL boxers are either bums, overrated, past their prime or should retire!
    Even future Olympic Gold Medalists in their pro debuts are overrated bums who fight other past their prime bums who should retire.

    Yes, but they are somewhat safe by time. That's why I'm more interested in mid to late eighties and on. Duran squeeks into that period but he definately has his detractors.

    Erik Morales seems to be the most universally loved.

    Yeah I'd probably agree with this...unless you mention him in the same sentence as Pacquiao, the "die-hards" will jump on him.

    Tyson seems to be loved by everyone...as does Cotto the majority of the time.
