Im not one for starting threads but after watching the farce build up and hype of Haye v Harrison ... i had the pleasure to watch Juanma v Rafa Marquez on saturday night and it restored my faith in the sport.. Two true warriors who came out and boxed for the love of the game and passion for the countires honour - a potential legend in Juanma produced some sublime skills against a true warrior in marquez who may have lost but was never disgraced. It was a pleasure to watch and enjoy. Lets hope JMM v Katsidis will be off a similar standard .. :good
check out the casey v hyland scrap from saturday its obviously not near the level of juanma v marquez but it was a really entertaining scrap while it lasted if haye harrison was anything like that it would well be worth the £15
Last weekend was terrific for boxing. These fights were all fantastic: Lopez v Marquez, Rees v Watson and Casey v Hyland Add: Johnson v Green, Judah v Matthysse and Guerrero v Escobedo and it was great. The real shame is that next weekend's boxing is gonna be on show to a far higher audience yet it's filled with awful, underserving mismatches: Haye v Harrison and Pacquiao v Margarito.
