Mayweather ran like a ***** in the Castillo rematch, because he was scared of getting outpunched like he did in the 1st fight - Fact. :deal

The "board" jumped for joy because they (or, I should say, some) thought that Kirkland was overhyped and being wrongly pumped-up, particularly by some people who wanted The Next American Boxing Savior. Same thing happens regarding Floyd. Same thing happens regarding Andre Ward. Ditto Tim Bradley. So on and so forth. It also happens with people like Joe Calzaghe.

What do these people all have in common?

They're undefeated fighters. And that lets people of whatever group the fighters supposedly represent (whites, blacks, Americans, Welsh, Eastern Europeans, ...) walk around with their chests puffed out and feel great. And pretend that their country, their ethnicity, their group has the greatest fighters ever -- better than all the rest.

So, other people or groups love it when such a figure fails. As Kirkland did the other night. It's the same reason why people watch Mayweather fights, either because he's unbeaten (and they're happy about that) or because they want him to lose.

For the record, the "board" (like the board is one individual voice) also did the same thing when Pavlik lost to Hopkins. I have a feeling you weren't particularly upset when that occurred.

None of this stuff is new or unique to this board. Or to the sport of boxing.

It's easy to chase turds like Kabary Salem and DeMarcus Chop-Chop around. "Warriors" fight other warriors kid. Micky Ward was a warrior. Pernell Whitaker was another warrior, but a totally different kind. Calzaghe and Mayweather handpicked their opponents more delicately than the man from Del Monte squeezing tangerines. It's very easy to look like a warrior when you're in with an overmatched opponent or a spent force. :deal

Everytime Manny gets hit clean he punishes his opponent by landing 3x what he was hit with and goes on to re-arrange their faces. Manny is a G.

Floyd does come back when he is hit hard. Ask Nazim. He said that when Floyd gets hit he will turn into a dragon and spit fire balls. That is exactly what he does.

Its because, when Floyd gets hit, he turns offensive, and they got no answer for hes quick hands.

With Mayweather's great skill, he really has the capability to make a quick retaliation. Mayweather is known egoist in this sport. The reason why he immediately goes back to his opponent is because he got embarassed that moment.
