Saturday @ the Sportshalle in Zinnowitz, on the Björn Schicke vs. Ronny Mittag undercard. 8 rounds @ heavyweight - a crossroads affair with the Kazakh born Russian journeyman looking for one last upset victory (his last was over Konstantin Airich in 2014, and before that Danny Williams in 2012) and the Athenian-Frankfurter looking to stay relevant on the European scene after suffering a couple of setbacks with his first pair of professional losses in a 5-month span.

The hulking Greek has a 6½″ height advantage. He is a veteran of the semi-pro Bigger's Better tourney, with a 9-3 record (and was 44-4 as an amateur).

This isn't a very important fight, and the winner probably won't ever be in a really important one, but this might be fun for the eight or less it lasts.

I expect a decision for Lazaridis. Good thing is that the fight is scheduled @ 8 rounds. It might get interesting, otherwise if it was 12 that would be harmful to watch.
