Evgeny Chuprakov vs Ernie Sanchez Round 1: 10-9 Round 2: 10-9 Round 3: 10-9 Round 4: 10-9 Round 5: 10-9 Round 6: 10-9 Round 7: 10-9 Round 8: 10-9 This is turning into a good fight now, very good performance from both, Sanchez is absolutely even now and looks much more dangerous.
Sanchez, if you're never seen him before, is limited as hell but all heart, under-rated power, great engine and refuses to give him. He's the sort of fighter anyone worth their salt will beat, but anyone worth their salt needs to face someone like Sanchez. You look at who he's been in with and it says it all. A great journeyman type fight, as in "has gloves, will come to win"

Chuprakov focusing on his defense, no reason to risk anything here as Sanchez hurts him several times before in the last couple of rounds. Both men looking gassed, short break, shake hands between them and then a wild exchange starts, Sanchez hurts Chuprakov with some good hands, Chuprakov in survival mode moving around Sanchez for the last 90 seconds, Sanchez throwing and letting his hands go but Chuprakov moving out. 98-92 97-93/96-94 is also fine, like 98-93 or even 98-94. The second half of the fight was really good, Sanchez stepped up and looked very good there.
Deffo a Chuprakov win, but he got tested big time in the final 3 rounds. Solid fight! Well done Ernie!
So, 20 minutes time to get some food and a coffee and then the Zeuge/Fielding event is about to start.
