Headlining a show Wednesday at the Floyd Mayweather Boxing Academy in Zhukovka, Russia. Pretty interesting match-up, as Smirnov is a long & tall young featherweight prospect with quick hands & feet but no power (his older brother Mikhail is a welterweight, currently 10-0 yet boasting just three kayos of his own...guess they inherited the feather-fist gene) - while ADS is the quintessential Brazilian glass cannon. Dos Santos has fought the better opposition by and large, but has been emphatically defeated thrice in his major steps up (kayoed in 2 by Jessie Magdaleno and Fabián Orozco, the latter of whom isn't even a puncher - and dropped twice in a shutout UD12 loss to Kid Galahad in 2014). Both last competed in November. Smirnov pitched a ten-round shutout against tough Filipino road warrior Jhon "The Disaster" Gemino, while Dos Santos popped the cherry of 5-0-2 (4) countryman Daniel Silva, beating him into submission and retiring him on his stool after two rounds. For those wondering how there came to be a FMBA in Zhukovka, it appears that Mayweather in his current state of semi-retirement from active in-ring/cage participation combat sports is looking to expand the sphere of influence for his entrepreneurial brand (promoting/managing/training) into Russia, and is even following in the footsteps of fellow American great RJJ in applying for citizenship there.
Co-main event features unbeaten lightweight Gaybatulla Gadzhialiev - a 2012 Olympian and 3x Azerbaijani national champ with an overall amateur record of 360-10 and semipro record (WSB) of 11-3.
I think they’ll probably upload it after the fact. They did that with their last card which was a more compelling card to be fair.

Floyd Mayweather attended this card sitting ringside, and he apparently won some undisclosed - but allegedly sizable - amount of money on Smirnov (or perhaps the outcome type, maybe he bet on a decision instead of a KO; that much is unclear) in a personal bet with Russian hip-hop clothing line ("Black Star" brand) mogul and rapper Timati.
Nothing yet on the Мир бокса channel on YouTube, will keep eyes peeled. (not that I'm likely to have a free half an hour to sit through all ten rounds of this after knowing the result, in all honesty, not my highest priority)
