Believe it or not there were plenty of people saying Pac would be crushed when word first came out of him going up to 135 and fighting David Diaz. You might be able to dig up some old treads on it. After Pac destroyed him Diaz was a bum. Now with the steroid allegations the Diaz win was proof he was on roids lol

 

i don't believe pac is using PEDs. Its unfortunate there are ******ed fans who would discredit a clean guy

 

Thats not true.......I would say that over 90% of the people of this forum thought of David Diaz as a paper champion that Pacquiao would easily beat.

The Diaz fight was definitely not one of the fights where people picked against Pacquiao.

I remember going through an old thread someone bumped recently where PacDBest was prominent in his predictions, and quite a few were saying Diaz would derail Pac's train before he even got to Hatton, DLH and the likes of Cotto. And they were talking about David Diaz. I agree it wasn't logical, I guess it must have been before Morales gave Diaz a tough fight.

I dont know what thread you were reading, but rest assured if PacDbest was involved, to make Pacquiao look good, he was the one that was saying that Diaz would be a tough fight for Pacquiao, while everyone else around here not a ******* was calling Diaz the weakest of the lightweight champions.

David Diaz has always been considered around here as a paper champion.......someone who happens to hold a championship belt just because there are so many to go around.
