In all honesty NO ONE really believes either Mayweather or Calzaghe are really undefeated. Both have dec wins they did not deserve/
The saddest part of all this is Floyd Mayweather was blessed with incredible God Given boxing talents.
Enough to REALLY be one of the greatest of all time. For reasons known only to him instead of taking
full advantage of the talents he decided on a prima donna approach. He cherry picked opponents & those he did fight he took every advantage possible over them both legal & illegal. Suspected all along of impropiatries , the events surrounding the May 2 2015 seem to prove the accusers right all along blatant corruption was involved & had been going on for years
To put it in a nutshell Floyd & his co conspirators ruined his own legacy for him

Floyd is too limited to be the GOAT. He was one dimensional and had absolutely no offensive game. Guys like Duran, Robinson, and Armstrong could do it all.

This post really went over peoples heads, but hey its esoteric stuff and ya'll are sleeping.

The Royal Bloodline works like a pyramid with the underfeated fighter at the top then it branches out downwards (and in Mayweathers case upwards). The first fighter in the Royal Bloodline initiates each chain, the losses of the opponents are irrelevant.

It means alot because it can be used to accurately predict fights.

I knew Mayweather would beat Berto because he beat Ortiz who beat Berto and he beat maidana who beat Ortiz who beat Berto and he beat Guerrero who beat Berto

I can put out predictions for you based on it.
Wilder will beat Wlad Klitschko (Wilder >Duhaupaus >Brewster >Klitschko)
    Jack/Degale is a 50/50 fight. (Jack beat Groves >Degale) (Degale >Dirrel >Edwards >Jack)
    Brook will beat Khan (Brook >Porter >Alexander >Mattysse >Peterson >Khan)
    Broner will beat Granados (Broner >Malignaggi> Judah> Mattysse> Peterson> Diaz> Granados)
    AJ will beat Klitschko ( Joshua> Olubawale> Cadiuex> Puritty> Klitschko)
Lara will beat Foreman (Lara >Trout >Cotto > Foreman)
    Collazo will beat Vasquez (Collazo >Ortiz >Berto >Quintana >Williams >Lara >Trout> Cotto> Malignaggi> Judah> Mattysse> Peterson> Diaz> Vasquez)

But hey according to folk on this site i dont know anything about boxing. I didnt even need to use boxrec for all it. Once you know mayweathers Line it all falls into place

I think Mayweather Jr is fantastic, it's just a shame that a good amount of people never got to see how great he was during his real prime- which existed between 130 to 140 lbs- so they don't remember just how great he was offensively.

The other element I'm critical of is that he didn't stay at JWW for a couple years to wipe the division clean, although I don't think the other alphabet champions at 140 lbs wanted anything to do with Jr around 2005.

He'll more than likely be remembered by the casual fans for what he did from 2007 and on- as a PPV star fighter in his 4th weight class at WW who was already in his 30's. SO most of those casuals will only remember him as being a defensive guru who evolved into a pot shot specialist at 147 and 154 lbs.

But at the lighter weights, the guy could bang and he literally took on anyone brave enough to fight him. There was probably about a 5 year period in his career where he was easily the most avoided fighter in the sport- very high risk with very little reward since he didn't have an established fanbase at the lighter weights (outside of Michigan.)

He's not the greatest ever, but I'd say he's inside the top 20. At his absolute peak, when I think of offense, defense and ring generalship and all the subset categories that arise from all 3, he might be one of the 5 most skilled fighters ever. He was something else at the lighter weights.

If he'd had the heart to fight the best in their primes he may well have gone down as top 20. But he didn't.

That's False. I pointed out in my main post that he beat fighters who beat all the other great fighters in history right down to the ATG Ray Robinson. He is easily Top 5 if not Top 3 because of this.

He didnt even have to face pacquiao because he already beat Marquez who hit Pac so hard that Pac started to praise God that he got knocked out.

Stop hating they are both undefeated and won all those fights. Its irrelevant if Calzaghe lost to an old Bhop and RJJ because he was the underdog in both of those fights.
