International affair, Iranian vs. Kazakh-Russian, both residing in Thailand (where I'm sure they stick out like sore thumbs among the locals )

 

10-9 Mardani, pressure and body shots, Gordeev looks in decent shape (and is 1-0, taking on a debutant here) but terrified.

 

Mardani keeps plowing ahead, double jabs on the gut and then a spearing right cross flush on the dick, then attempts some two-handed hooking attacks up top but only manages to clatter his inner elbows against the side of Gordeev's head while Gordeev throws panicky body shoeshines. Mardani then starts windmilling rights at the head. Gordeev down once, then again for the count a minute later.

KO2!!

 

Mariana Scombati vs. Thidarat Serasee (introduced as "Thidarat Family MuayThai Gym"), 4x2" rounds @ super flyweight

 

Both ladies making their pro debuts. The bout was originally scheduled at flyweight but the Brazilian came in 1½ lb heavy. Sirasee, interestingly, came in at 108lbs - effectively making the light fly limit.

 

I know where that extra 24oz is... (all in Scombati's phat little ass)

 

Speaking of asses, the local southpaw gal is getting hers kicked mercilessly. That's bound to happen when you're facing someone two divisions bigger, I suppose.
