Parzęczewski keeps lumping out the jab and then lathering himself up into spastic volleys of haymakers and snatching attempts. When he gets his arms encircled around Mendy he shakes & ragdolls him roughly before tossing him across the ring, leaving the Gambian permanently disoriented and off-balance. Mendy down but correctly no-called by the ref as it wasn't from a punch (although Parzęczewski landed several rabbit punches before hip-tossing Mendy down). Parzęczewski applying crazy pressure, nothing pretty and orthodox (and questionably even legal) about it, but effectively shutting Mendy down offensively.

Round 6

Parzęczewski takes advantage of Mendy being too bushwhacked to establish his rhythm at mid-range, bulling in and leaning heavily down upon him with his forearms grinding into his nape until Mendy squirms loose and resets outside. Parzęczewski stretching a jab out and up into Mendy's waiting right glove, almost giving his opponent the assist on the parry, but really the jab is just bait to get Mendy to attempt counters so that Parzęczewski, once he gets the fly to wander into the spider's web, can maul him. Parzęczewski using physicality on the inside to completely nullify Mendy and force him to expel his gas tank winging in body shots without leverage. Clever. Mendy eats a flush right hand and left hook just before the bell.

Round 7

Mendy bends over and jabs the body, and Parzęczewski grabs at his slick & writhing back yet can't get a grip on him. A few more attempts to put Mendy in a hold before the ref orders them back a step. Mendy is now making sure to connect solidly on the body in clear view of the judges before diving in to relent to each clinch. Mendy is slipping jabs and landing check hooks now, getting a little of his old mojo back, a little more bounce in his step. A leaping hook by Mendy is ducked, but Parzęczewski continues to back up even without any follow-up punches by Mendy. Parzęczewski lobs a lazy right hand from across the divide, and Mendy easily dodges with a lean the other way. Mendy worms his way in and shrugs in a few point blank uppercuts downstairs until grabbed.

The house DJ at Hala Sportowa tonight is obsessed with Nirvana. That is like the 5th song of theirs he's played as between-rounds music on this card.

Round 8

Parzęczewski's jab is getting stuffed as Mendy shoots both arms out to bat it down. Mendy getting in close and throwing corkscrew rights on the body as Parzęczewski jogs away. Mendy slipping the long jabs of Parzęczewski with minimal trouble, and now wrestling back when Parzęczewski gathers him into rough clinches, even reaching around for some kidney slaps. Parzęczewski getting a taste of his own medicine now, Mendy applying erratic rough pressure on the mouth-breathing (now literally) Pole. Mendy flicks out some jabs from his lower chest while jerking his chin away from Parzęczewski's.

Round 9

Parzęczewski struggles to not let Mendy in close, where Mendy's stamina is winning out with his greater volume of body work. Parzęczewski bowing low, ambushing Mendy with a spring-action hook, missing it a few times before planting one finally on the nose, but Mendy is undeterred. Mendy rakes at Parzęczewski's face with the jab comfortably from outside and shimmies at diagonals to make Parzęczewski miss his own. Mendy forces Parzęczewski to duck with a couple of jabs and then marches into him, bowling huge right hands into his belt line. Parzęczewski just pushing a noodle jab out while sliding his feet backward.
