    WOW! I just found this by shear accident . There's a blast from the past its me who boxed Tommy Rawlings on that show. I gave 10lb away to take that fight (Tony D put bags of change down my protector and in my boots to make the weight)I think it was at the Grafton club. I hope Alan Sr is in good health as its a few yrs since I last saw him. I have sparred hundreds of rounds with him from early days at Widnes and Boston ave and all the way to the end at Wavertree. Him and his dad use to pick me up in his van on his way through.Then ended up as your coach at Warrington its a small world eh.

    I don't suppose you'd have anything from the Rotunda from the late 70's to early 80's. My dad was boxing for them then, he was only a kid like so it's probably a long shot.

    I boxed for tony derby at sand down lane wavertree abc in last 80’s early 90’s was a great guy would love to hear from anyone who was there same time I moved away back to Ireland lost contact will tony.

    Alright syd only just come across this, that's a funny story , me dads told me about the many battles use had. he's good thanks , how are you I hope your well, I remember you at warrington you was a great coach and I remember your son had loads of talent and skilful did he carry on boxing ? deffo a small world m8
