Exactly why is there no shame in losing to Mayweather?

I heard everyone from Larry Merchant, Kellerman, Lampley, Paulie, and Robert Garcia say this. Now Freddie Roach is on the "no shame" train but why?

It's a phrase, you lose to the best it was expected

Ortiz may be the case where this doesn't apply as he lost with such little dignity

Because they commend you for thinking you're going into a boxing match but actually turn up for a 36 minute jogging session and you make it all the way to the end

You're fighting a guy who's allowed to roid himself to teeth, has a personal bodyguard in the ring and has judges on his payroll. Losing to him means you failed to knock him out. Although you'd be instantly disqualified by Bayless if you came close to achieving that as well.

What's ironic is Floyd and this whole streets thing growing up hardened, thug life, hitting women and what not, yet he's a runner. That is irony. Nevermind the cleaning up the sport rhetoric yet irony again, getting caught with some big ass bags of saline... lol.

I don't recall him ever ever saying he's a "thug".. I don't even recall him even acting "street" either.. People like you and Fox News kill me with this "thug" aka "n word" talk.. If yall spot a black guy using slang, rapping, or wearing certain attire, they're thugs.. He grew up in the boxing world.. He didn't have time to be in the streets...

They also like their ******s loud mouth and boisterous, so they can say they hate that type of person. Ward, Crawford and Bradley never do that and nobody in boxing wants to give then the time of day but would love to fight Broner.:huh

But no one ever faced Floyd Mayweather jr on a level playing field. His opponents were facing Mayweather, USADA, The NSAC , Vegas boxing & all their officials. Not one opponent in the last 10 years got an even break

You get $2 million for was is basically a glorified sparring session where one guy just runs around while landing about 10-12 punches per round. Then the 120-108 scorecards are read, you get your check and continue on the rest of your boxing career. Even guys as large as Andre Ward would have drained themselves at a chance the TBE!

That's just the a side. You kinda earn the right to call the shots when your p4p1.
Even if your not p4p1 if you are considered the a side you will be able to call the shots in most cases. Mayweather, klticshko, pacquiao, de la hoya have been king of the a side since they became the aside. Its the a side way or the highway. You should know that by now.
