    1. Find his range
    2. Start with the jab - even Ricky Hatton starts with a jab
    3. Raise the guard
    4. Move his head and body
    5. Learn how to slip shots
    6. After being rocked - hold on or get on your bike
    7. Don't walk onto shots
    8. Don't try to get up straight away after being heavily decked
    9. Stop lying to yourself
    10. Find alternative employment

the thing is he seemed to forget what he was good at. namely boxing, not brawling.

but still having said that prescott was throwing straight bombs. i think that a lot of ppl are going to have trouble with him

Seriously that ko has made my year.

Everyone at my work was so pleased with him being ko'd.

Ive never seen so many people rooting for a guy to get his arse kicked.

    - Use that fast and surprisingly deft footwork that he showed off in the amateurs to circle the ring constantly. Never provide a stationary target for a puncher.

    - Jab, jab, jab, jab. Sometimes go for the 1-2 when the timing is correct. Do this for at least one round, so you can measure Prescott's reach, speed, skill, etc. Don't stand toe-to-toe and engage.

    - Keep the guard up high and tight.

    - Head movement. Constant bobbing and weaving to compliment the footwork.

    - Tire Prescott out, and THEN engage with those fast combinations before stepping back out again. A basic 'in and out' rhythm, just like his amateur days.

    - If knocked down (like the first KD) then take a knee and use the time to recover as much as possible before getting up. Don't try to be macho and spring right back up, because your legs won't be stable enough.

    - Counter Prescott's wide, looping shots with short, sharp and accurate punches in-between. Try and time it so that you hit him while he's in the midst of his own punch, thus doubling the effectiveness.

    - Keep away from the ropes.
