Wasn't joe trynna call out a mw?

  2. Roy and Toney were middleweights once too, but they didn't want to spend their time beating up blown up welters.

Hopkins could have stepped up, initially agreed but then backed out.

Didn't want to fight RJJ again till he was a shell of his former self.

I can't work out if your trolling or if you are just one of the most blinded fanboys in esb history, either way, that has got to win the award for most lauighable post of the month.

Please, no more fanboys on this thread, I just want open minded fans on here to debate boxing and call a spade a spade without posters blindly defending their idol.

So far we seem to have Bernard Hopkins and Victoria Ortiz in a tie for the fighter who has looked for a way out most during boxing matches, are there any more suggestions for fighters who have embarrassed and cheated their fans out of their hard earned money?

Please pal, no more fanboy trolling in this thread. We all know Hopkins turned down a career high pay day in 2002 for Calzaghe to travel to america and fight him.

We also know that Calzaghe moved up weights in 2008 and in his fight at 175 schooled Hopkins in his own back yard despite corrupt refereeing and 3 american judges. Why would Calzaghe give a rematch to a fighter that is not interested in giving the fans value for money, looks to headbutt and clinch at every opportunity, and looks for a way out as soon as he knows he is going to lose.

Anyway, back to the thread topic CJ, can you contribute something worthwhile to the thread and think of anymore fighters who cowardly looked for a way out during fights?

Think you will find that 20 of Hopkins first 21 fights were at super-middleweight or heavier, that was Bernards natural weight. It makes it even more laughable that he used to call out the likes of Oscar, Trinidad, and Mosley

Fantastic call Hitman, Golota could very well be on the top shelf off cowardly quitters alongside HOPKINS-ORTIZ-CINTRON.

What do you think are the best examples of Golota looking for a way out of fights during his career?

Yeah Tyson has looked for a way out on an number of occasions. He was looking for a way out blaming Holyfields head and then bit his ear off in the next fight, He looked for a way out v Botha trying to get disqualified for breaking his arm, he tried to get out of the Lewis fight at the press conference, he looked for a way out with McBride. Does Tyson belong on the top shelf for fighters who looked for a way out of fights next to Hopkins, Cintron, and Ortiz?
