Recently I marveled at Berchelt staying alive casually strolling into bomb after bomb from Valdez... until lights out.

Sometimes in a big mismatch you see some journeyman eat monster shots that make you think referees should be applauded for doing a British stoppage (perhaps with open scoring especially... if there arent enough rounds left for you to win and you are eating it, I favor a Brit stoppage, no joke).

Pacquiao took insane bombs from Marquez in their first two fights. Then he survived a brutal knockdown from Roidquez. Couldn't survive (the night) from the insane roided nuke.

Inoue took 3 fight-ending nukes from Nonito and resulted in the first and last 3 quick clinches of his career.

not shitting on him as he took it without getting KO'd but I don't think that can be classed as absorbing the shot

I would say absorbing is when the punch lands flush and you show no outward signs of being effected

I still doubt what a greater feat it is; knock down 6 times heavyweight champion, or get up 6 times after Foreman's knockdowns (there was no knockout, a technological knockout was awarded)?

How many knockdowns did it take for Joe Frazier to count to ten?

Although he went down from the shot, Fury did very well to take some of the blow out of Wilder’s second massive right hand in the 4th round of the 3rd fight. Moved his head towards it so it hit his forehead instead. GGG eating Canelo’s too of course. Usyk absorbs shot brilliantly.

The first big right Mosley landed on Maweather because although stunned Mayweather caught the same punch with his left and right arm and held Mosley in place, stopping him from landing another immediately after. Great ****ing defense and iq.

It is the difference in intensity. Lewis was catching Mavrovic as he was coming in.
OTOH Klitschko's head was completely stationary. You typically don't see somebody set his feet and punch somebody under the jaw so hard.
Sounded like his head was hit by a bat.
Despite being a mere 214 lbs.

....but people think Canelo is going to KO Beterbiev

I said it before, Canelo's skills have moved up, not his power. I doubt he is hitting any harder now than he was at 160lbs.
