The recent Miguel Cotto vs. Margarito.

  3. Not really a very good example, Margarito is 'rangy' but doesnt use his reach advantage and fight tall, he walks forward and throws shots up close.

Would any of Paul William's losses count?

  5. Yeah, I was gonna suggest his first fight with Martinez, I think Martinez won that fight, and his first loss against 'Quintanna' I think it was, Williams is a very aggresive fighter with a crazy height and reach advantage over opponents!

That's what I was thinking, great display from Mayweather, although he's got decent reach himself.

it all depends on your skill set, not all short fighters fight the same and not all tall fighters fight the same. Is stupid to just have one game plan for any tall fighter. Some are boxer punchers others are brawlers others are strictly boxers. And what about you are you a brawler a boxer puncher a boxer. Is all about maximizing your skill set to take advantage of your opponents weakness. The question is a lot more complicated for anybody here to be giving advice.

I don't know anything about your skills or abilities...
Try Del Flanagan vs Sandy Saddler (very tall for his weight, rangy, very aggressive). Ruben Olivares vs Little Red Lopez (also tall rangy and aggressive; Olivares had his moments despite losing); any of the fights Arguello didn't win.

Chisora vs helenius (Chisora won but got robbed)

its not easy to be that kind of figghter

you have to close the distance and get in on the inside,
smaller fighter always has to bring it to the bigger one.
