Examples of swarmers beating techinically gifted punchers?

    Margarito-Cotto - although Cotto isn't a massive puncher he's very technical (Marg may or may not have had assistant but he pressured him silly)

    While this is a good example, Jofre was past his best, and had some trouble making weight.

    For the Swarmer to beat the technically gifted puncher, I think he needs to be more stamina, better durability, equal to or greater heart, and enough power to hurt the technical puncher.

    I don't see how Holyfield fought anything like a swarmer in that fight...does countering loaded-up, singular, right-handed power punches and constantly grappling constitute swarming?? Also does that Tyson really qualify as a technically gifted puncher...he looked like a crude "one-big-punch" fool, trying to stop a guy with a titanium chin. Also I agree with itrymariti, except I say the class gap wasn't always there, but he would say it was and that Tyson "barely changed". :lol:
