    Any examples form classic posters?

Kostya Tszu won every round but couldn't drop past-prime Roger Maywether who was stopped numerous times (including one-punch KO losses)

Tells you all you need to know about Kostya. Mayweather smothered his power. He was never hurt. His legs were gone and he couldn't box from ring center and laid on the ropes a lot. He also hit Kostya repeadedly with straight rights. I think prime Mayweather would have outboxed Kostya. Vince Phillips probably watched the tape and said "Damn I will be able to hit Tszu with straight rights. " And he did.
