I was at Bute Froch, and Bute got annihalated.

So i don't get why Bute wants his rematch. It wasnt a one punch lucky shot. He got rocked with every big shot Froch through.

Are there any examples where a fighter has being beated as brutally as Bute was, then won the rematch.

I'm not talkingone punch lucky shots like Rahman Lewis. But more brutally destroyed, then rematched and won.

    Any examples???

    lewis v mccall

proabably simelar to lewis v rahman tho not really a beat down

Scott Harrison got stopped by Manuel Medina - altho it was a split do i remeber he wasnt well and Media kinda controlled things for a routine win? Scott stopped him in the rematch.

Wast mad into boxing around this time really

he definetly did better in the rematch. but again not quite what i'm after. As Bute won most of the rounds.

Against froch he only maybe won the 1st.

Cotto Margarita is more in line. But Cotto again won alot of rounds and also Margo was faded in the 2nd fight.

But surely with froch Bute the result is inevitable.

Like Foreman Frazier. He might do a little better, but will still get ko'd

yes, a better example, but again, you still felt lewis would win the rematch.

    Zale-Graziano trilogy

Graziano was knocked out in the 1st, Zale in the 2nd & then Graziano again in the 3rd. All 3 were epic wars

yes just like this. but a real world example. maybe Bute needs to join a hardcore gym and find the eye of the tiger

not seen these. were any of the fights one sided though. or were they all back and forth wars?

im more looking for a fight which was completely one sided in the 1st match. then in the rematch the other fighter won.

i dont think there has ever been a win in a rematch after being so utterly dominated

almost what i'm after, But Cotto again won alot of rounds and also Margo was faded in the 2nd fight.

this is the closest exaample i can think off, but again the 1st fight was competetive. and the 2nd fight margo was past it

A-Farce battered Danny Williams in the rematch but you could hardly say running away like a scared little lamb in the first fight constitutes being dominated.
