    Carl Froch epitomises this really. His balance and defence are as weak as any top level fighter in history. Big fan of his but he had massive weaknesses that he made up for with his chin, jab and engine.

    Froch is a weird one because you watch McCracken training him in the build up to Groves 2 and he's giving him every piece of information on what he's doing wrong during training and yet everytime a fight comes he wants to exchange because that's when he is going to get the better of the guy because he is so technically flawed...

    You nailed it in my opinion, his balance is shocking and that makes his footwork look truly awful at times.

    Froch is by far. Hunched over style, he fights like a fast guy with "race car" reflexes, but he really doesn't have those reflexes, just chin and will. He's a hard guy but....
