You make it sound like Pacquiao gained a ton of weight overnight, He didn't. 2006 | 129 | Morales III | Ring Weight: 144 | Rehydration: 15 lbs 2007 | 130 | Barrera II | Ring Weight: 144 | Rehydration: 14lbs 2008 | 129 | Marquez II | Ring Weight: 145 | Rehydration: 16lbs 2008 | 134½ | Diaz | Ring Weight: 147 | Rehydration: 12½ lbs 2008 | 142 | De La Hoya | Ring Weight: 148.5 | Rehydration: 6½ lbs 2009 | 138 | Hatton | Ring Weight: 148 | Rehydration: 10 lbs 2009 | 144 | Cotto | Ring Weight: 149 | Rehydration: 5 lbs 144-149 = 5 lbs difference in three years.
they're not in boxing because there hasn't been another pressure in boxing to get these sort of tests done, but since floyd has brought it up, boxing commissions have looked into it financially. boxing has changed it's rules in boxing throughout it's history, it's just something happened to change it, sometimes tragic circumstances, but they have changed some of the rules such as weigh-in days etc. your opinion of pacquiao not taking drugs means nothing, because the fact is you can't decide someone is on drugs by just looking at them, you got to have tests done. i never thought someone like mosley would take drugs, but he did.
I wonder what Marquez felt when Floyd refuse to shred the excess weight. is that a fair win.? and it seems like Floyd lives fine with it at all.
So I guess Money is a mind reader and knew for sure that PacGwire and his team were going to **** bricks and flat out duck a random blood test.atsch More ridiculous **** from the P(ac)ED tards.
JMM was the guy chasing after Floyd therefore he's likely to concede to things to a certain extent. He could've walked away from the fight but he didn't. Instead he took Floyd's money and fought like a warrior despite Floyd's advantage. Manny can't or won't do this because he feels he's on a higher level than Floyd which is really not the case otherwise they wouldn't have settled on a 50/50 split (it means both guys are on an equal level). Still, I think Pac should've taken those easy tests because he would have his advantages of wearing his 8 oz gloves and a reduced size boxing ring. If he was smart he could've charged Floyd millions for every blood test. But oh well. Too late.
No. He only put 10 lbs since that fight. On Hatton fight at 140 he weighs 138 and at Cotto fight at 145 catch weight, he weighs 142. Cotto was the last fight before PBF asked for OSDT. And if you missed the obvious, Pac is trying to build his weigh purposely to match his opponent or at least get close to their weigh. Pac can easily make 140 because his walking weigh is about 145-147.
STOP FOLLOWING ME...I ASKED FOR A SOURCE ON IT..ONE WAS PROVIDED...BUT TO SAY THAT HE IS "BROKE" IS STUPID.. AND WHY R U ALWAYS FOLLOWING ME SAYING THE SAME **** THROUGH THREADS MAN.. U HERE TO TALK BOXING OR JUST TALK ****??:huh
this is what i dont get. he loses 14lb to fight berrera, then rehydrates 14lb overnight... then 5 months later loses 16lbs to fight marquez and then rehydrates 16lbs overnight... then 3 months later, he loses 12½lbs to fight diaz and then rehydrates 12½lbs overnight to put on a fantastic performance against diaz...... ... maybe im missing something but isnt this just too much for such a small guy? surely there would be health issues or after effects of constantly losing and gaining over a stone in weight? a small guy like pacquiao cant mess around with his weight like that surely, Unless he had some help from his chemist of course........ :think
lol it isn't the weight that suggests anything..go look at joshua..he has weighed in as high as 170 on fight night for a 147lb fight plus as low as 156lb against zab which was also a 147 lb fight.. Pac's weight is not the issue..its the 34435452 excuses he has made to not test..**** what sr said too
LMFAO...YOUR STUPID ASS THOUGHT FLOYD SIGNED TO FIGHT JMM AFTER RICKY FOUGHT MANNY...:rofl HOW CAN U EVEN GET INVOLVED IN A DEBATE WHEN U HAVE THE WRONG INFORMATION N THE FIRST PLACE? :think
It seems to me that some people want to have their cake and eat it. On one hand they're heaping praise on Pac for his rise from being a small guy through the weight classes (and rightly so in my opinion), but when his extraordinary rise is cited as a cause for concern from some that it points to foul play they downplay his rise through the ranks and start highlighting what he's weighed in at.
UR WAY OFF MAN...FLOYD DIDN'T FIGHT AT 147 UNTIL 2005 WHEN HE FOUGHT MITCHELL...FURTHERMORE HE WAS 24 AT THE LAST 130LB FIGHT HE HAD..HE WAS 28 WHEN HE FOUGHT HIS FIRST WW FIGHT:deal ALSO MANNY WAS 29 WHEN HE FOUGHT HIS LAST FIGHT AT 130LBS...HE WAS ALSO 29 WHEN HE FOUGHT HIS FIRST FIGHT AT WW TOO:good
