OR....don't even ask for the tests that were based on the allegations that were spread. Go about business as usual and we would have had the fight. It goes both ways. My only hang up about the demands from floyd were that they were based on NOTHING. Just the fact that Floyd set out to tarnish PAC's rep and cast a shadow of doubt over his career is reason enough for Manny NOT to give into Floyd and his demands being that Floyd acted in a way that was irresponsible and foolish. But then again PAC could have just gave in and took the tests and the fight probably would have been done. I just feel it should have NEVER gotten to the point were testing would have been an issue.

Leg pressing 500lbs is not extreme for an athlete at that level. Anyway, the answer is quite simple. Floyd Sr. suspected Manny was on PED's. Thats the reason Floyd Jr. made blood testing a requirement. Not because he wants to 'clean up the sport' and not because he was 'afraid of Pacquiao'.

 

because floyd must seriously believe pacquiao is on something. at the end of the day, floyd is ok with the fight, all he wants is reinsurance that pacquiao is clean, and pacquiao has refused to give floyd that re-insurance to fight, so instead floyd has gone for a tough challenge, and not for such bad money either. i don't think floyd is that broke, he knows he can earn $20 million+ for a fight. he's at the peak of his earning power at the moment.

I assume you're trolling here because it's difficult for me to believe that a person could honestly be as stupid as you're purporting yourself to be, but I'll take the bait anyway.

#1 Fighters in all combat sports drain themselves from their actual, natural weights to make weight, then rehydrate afterwards. It follows that not everyone fighting in the same weight class is the same size.

#2 Pacquiao has put on 4lbs from when he "controversially" beat Marquez in 2008, not 17. In fact, he's put on 5lbs in 4 years (since he fought Morales for the 3rd time) - Oprah Winfrey can do that in 10 minutes. He weighed 144lbs in the fight with Morales in 2006, 145lbs against Marquez in 2008, 147lbs in his next fight (at 135), 148.5lbs in his next fight (at 147), 148lbs in his next fight (at 140), and was reported to be 149 in his last two fights (at 147).

#3 Pacquiao looked worse in his fight with Marquez because he had to drain 16lbs to make weight for it. He was outgrowing the weight class and moved up in his next bout as he could no longer make 130 comfortably and healthily.

#4 By no stretch of the imagination has Pacquiao gotten any faster. He's actually slowing down a bit. Is he heavier? Of course, he doesn't have to watch his diet anymore as he's fighting at a weight class where he can make weight effortlessly. Is he stronger and fitter? Definitely - as a result of not having to drain and being able to eat better.

 

This is the only way a ******* can see things lol... Floyd will be PAc's worst nightmare just as JMM and EM were to Pac...

 

Nah brah.....the rumors were spread and got traction WITHOUT ANY evidence or foundation to support his claims. Do you honestly think that if Manny GAVE INTO all of Floyd's demands with the whole testing bull**** that the haters would accept that if Manny won? Especially if Manny did so in dominating fashion?

HELL NO! The haters and Floyd would have stuck to the claims that Manny has beaten the Test somehow, someway and start saying that the tests are NOT 100% and Manny was on the A SIDE OF MEFF!:rofl Which is undetectable by any human or earthly testing measures out there.

What doesn't make sense is that Floyd himself has ALWAYS stated that Manny was all hype....not that good....one demensional....lucky.....picked the right opponents.....picked them at the right time....they were shot...weight drained ect...ect..ect.. Floyd even went as far as to say He'd GLADLY expose and humiliate Manny and that All PAC MAN had to do was say his name and the fight would be as good as done. Floyd was so "EAGER" to collect his largest payday and most signifigant win over Manny it seemed he was chomping at the bit to make the fight.

If that is the case......why change his tune when the fight is on the horizon? If Manny is THAT EASY...and offers him THAT MUCH MONEY...why all the sudden spread lies and rumors that are unfounded meant to ruin PAC's Rep...whom FLOYD is suppose to be fighting?

WHY?...Why would Floyd who has been so vocal about Manny being so easy and over hyped now all of the sudden on some specail peds that would have him become superhuman? That is a very contradicting stance from Manny being an easy payday and one that would have Floyd humilate Manny and further expose him?

Why not go about business as usual like Floyd has in 40 other fights? No allegations...no lies...no demands. And the fight would have been signed, sealed, and delivered long before March 13th.

For a fighter who is so confident, cocky and predictable for the last 14 yrs to ALL OF THE SUDDEN act out in a completely alien manner suggest that there is an underlining element that needs to be addressed that Floyd seems to be eluding outside the ring just as well as he eludes his opponents offense in it.

That doens't make ANY SENSE.

Floyd didn't have to start the rumor to support it and take it a step further by demanding the testing. The allegations were NOT the nail in the coffin for this fight....the DEMANDS were! But the demands stemmed from the false allegations. Sr is the first to say it.....some may have even thought Floyd was on something but no one is that irresponsible to just go around spreading unfounded lies or allegations without any shread of proof like Sr , Jr and the rest of the Mayweather camp did.
