-Main events offers Stevenson a 50/50 split for a fight with Kovalev in June. -BJS offered 3-4 Million to fight GGG in April -Andre Ward targeting Sullivan Barrera for a March 26th Showdown in Oakland If the BJS and Stevenson rumours are true, and come into fruition it would represent hope for Boxing, with Haymon fighters fighting with HBO fighters once again. If thats the case, Ward may be able to even fight Fonfara before he fights Kovalev. Maybe 2016 is the year that a large amount of the politics get pushed aside for quality fights to be made.
Good for GGG to give up the money and control the publics perception of him unifying the division and force Canelo to fight him. Unless Canelo offers more then BJS should take it and run. Ward vs Barrera is a real challenge for Ward and the best test for him at 175. Stevenson vs Kovalev ??? I'm still not sure until I see them at the weigh in.
