in order to be lineal you have to win a sanctioned title fight. there was never any lineal title the guy who was he wba or wbc champion unified and became the champ. and he defended his title.

that lineal garbage gives fighters who actually have to defend their titles against the bst an excuse to fight weak comp like ricky.

if ricky hadn't beat kosta for his ibf title he wouldn't be lineal of anything.

lineal is a distinction it is not a title.

Actually...lineal or ABC... it depends entirely on who the champ is. Neither is really better or more difficult to win. DEFENDING a belt successfully against top comp is what give the champion prestige.

Pac fan's need to make up their ****ing minds. When they say pac won so and so titles in w/e number of weight classes, are they refering to lineal or alphabet. Because you cant count ****ing both. you must make a distinction.

Pac won lineal titles at 140, 130,

And he won alphabet titles at 112, 122, 130, 135

So you can say he was a 4 weight champion (alphabet style)

    OR

You can say he is a 2 weight champion (lineal style)

Either are very impressive, You just cant say he was a 5 weight champion, because you have to distinguish between linear and alphabet BECAUSE they are not the same thing, and are not to be said interchangably. :good

167 lbs was for the SMW title. They had to weigh in a second time (anything over 168 to fight for the LHW title. They fought for both. That was a special exemption, but you still can't weigh in at 168 and under and fight for a LHW title.

The Lalonde fight was an absolute sham.

Leonard is a 4 weight champ. No more, No less.

Hey know ur history first before posting ur moronic **** here. Pac is a 4 division lineal champ. He was lineal in 112,126,130 and 140. If u want to make a distinction then it should be like this.

    Lineal titles: 140,126
    Alpha titles: 122, 135,
Lineal with alpha titles: 112, 130

as u can see pac has 4 lineal titles and for ****ing alpha titles in 6 different weightclass. I hope u have learned something from this.

Apparently IBO, IBF, WBX, XYZ, ABC, ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXY and finally Z are more important than that.
