If it's true then Roach is a fool for putting his reputation at risk.

At the moment Hatton can only beat fighters who he would have considered beneath him during his prime. Anyone near PBF or Pacman's level beats him no problem.

So at the end of the day if he wins bouts with Freddy, it's going to be Malignaggi's and Lazcano's all over again, and if he loses, then it's going to be to Mosley's and Cotto's.

Nothing to gain. If anything, there's a big risk that he ends up losing against an underdog.

 

After the fight Roach was asked about the rumour of him becoming Hatton's trainer. Roach said before the fight he would've liked to have been his trainer, but he said he should just retire now because he's risking his health.

Hatton does not have anywhere near the brain/mentality for top level boxing, anywhere near...... and Freddie cant fix that

After the pacquaio fight Roach gave an interview where he made a compelling case for Hatton to retire, basically saying that he's living proof of the dangers of fighting on and taking too many beatings. That's why I can't believe he'd train Hatton. Maybe Hatton could just about win another title at 140 but he really should retire.

 

What a ****ing disgrace. Makes me really sick too. Just like that other phony loser, DLH, the guy thinks changing trainers every 5 minutes is the answer. To these 2, it was always the trainer, never the fighter themselves. Money hungry little piece of ****. I hope you fail Hatton, then you'll realize it was really that YOU were never any good and just a below average scrub that suckered lots of people with your phoney DLH-like image. You need to be destroyed again and knocked out of the sport so you stop stealing people's and fools who just can't help themselves hard earned money.
