I think it should have been a NC, I don't think PW wanted that decision, he didn't have anything to do with that. PW would have woooped his sorry but anyway :yep

You raise a good, if somewhat pedantic point.

    And you're quite right.

    I am forced to reconsider.

I now believe there's a probability of between 0.003 and 0.005 that he formed a scheme to fake in the milliseconds after he fell, and he dove through the convenient opening.

There's also the non-zero probability that the punisher back-kicked him out of the ring, knowing that this would lead to an SD victory.

I'm sure there are other possibilities I've missed.

Maybe you can be of further assistance in this matter ?

No. The sheer lunacy of that piece of speculation and the threads and posts contending it were what I was referring to.

    This is speculation and opinion.

He gave his account of what happened in the interview, and there is no evidence to the contrary. Indeed, his account is in complete accord with what the cameras showed.

How would faking the injury give him a win ?

He stated a minute or so after the fall that he wanted to continue. It was the doctors who said he should stay on the ground.

The dude is less than stellar, and has been the beneficiary of previous gifts, but he's getting tagged unfairly here.

No evidence? how about the video?

the circumstances of the situation doesn't change what many people saw, his natural momentum was taking him towards the ropes but the spring that took him out of the ring was his doing.

You gotta be mad stupid to believe Cintron didn't want to finish the fight especially since he was winning and had Williams where he wanted him.

at 3:40.. he stood in until the end.

i don't wanna judge too harsh, though. still, i'm lucky the judges didn't have cintron ahead as i did.

Hes also an idiot and a liar about the rules. If you fall out of the ring you dont have 5 mins to recover. You have 20 seconds to get back into the ring under your own power. If you cant, its a KO loss.

thats if you are punched out though, the KO count is a little longer thats all.

If a fight goes to a technical decision YOU MUST SCORE THE PARTIAL ROUND

how many times have we heard lederman go on about that, how that fits into the first 4 round rule however is a mystery to me :huh
