To be honest although it's a good move as more people will see the fight the overall card will suffer. We will be lucky to see one undercard fight with highlights of another if the main event is short. Fury vs Rahman won't happen and the rest of the card is poor.

Reading the Boxrec report the poor quality of the undercard is partly why the fight isn't a PPV.

Christ could you imagine if Rahman vs Fury was chief support on a PPV bill? :patsch

Had Rahman been prepared to fight Fury at such short notice, it would have been chief support and it would have been PPV. For real.

I agree, but if it had remained on PPV there would have been some incentive to improve the card at short-notice.

Now it's just going to remain a steaming pile of ****. Not that it really matters too much but to me having Crolla vs Rees, Macklin vs Gevor and Fury vs Rahman on PPV would have been better than just the main event on regular Sky.

So far when Khan has appeared on PPV it has always been backed up with a decent american card thrown in (pacman etc) but I suspect this time SKY have just refused to pay extra for Berto v Ortiz coz they probably think noone here will have heard of them.

Sky have taken it down off their list of live fights for April so I'd say there's something in it, I've also read Khan promotions have offered Rahman more money to get the fight made with Fury so it could be an ultimatum from Sky and they are waiting for the outcome.
