Yeah I was remembering how we had this argument about the last Khan fight and it ended up that Sky did have the fight. Read too much into it I guess :nut

"I read and heard". No doubt on an internet forums, which you then began repeating as fact.

It was nothing to do with Khan. You will not find anyone at SKY having ever mentioned anything regarding him and the April 29th date.

I wasn't going to buy this as it is a terrible line up and main event. I moan about it all the time then end up buying them, but was going to stcik to it this time. Well done to Sky.

No they'll still need to maximise the viewing figures for this even more so due to it not being pay per view.

It'll be interesting to see how many tune in now and whether the number is far higher than what they'd normally get if this was a pay per view event.

Or it could be more people would rather watch and class Real Madrid vs Barcalona as a far bigger event than Khan fight someone the majority have never heard of.

Sky are ****ed off with BT and would not want to give them this fight, if it is on Sky Sports 3, then that would be the reason as they were trying to move Premier League matches to SS3 and 4 not long ago. If its on SS1 or 2 then they would be looking to maximise the viewing figures as BT Vision customers would be able to view it.

Real Madrid v Barcelona on SS1 then fine, put it on SS2. Surely football first is not more popular than a major boxing event. Trust me mate I know the relationship between Sky and BT i work in telecommunications.

That's a fair point actually. Real v Barca is already penned in for SS1 and you're right they'll likely have football first on 2.

With still no announcement from Sky (I'm guessing something will be mentioned on Ringside), does anyone think the entire card may be cancelled? We all know team Khan's history with money and tightness and this isn't the first time things have been left til last minute with regards to who's gonna broadcast his fights (Khan v Malignaggi)
