So why aren't Gamboa and JuanMa fighting? Face it, Margarito had several losses at this point and Cotto always seems to be a lame to the slaughter with Top Rank - Margarito, Clottey near comeback, Pacquiao, now tall 154lb'er on comeback.

While Rigondeaux, JuanMa and Gamboa are still undamaged property and still have there '0's each, they will be fighting elsewhere I'm pretty sure. Arum is a shrewd business if a horrible ****, I don't see why he would sacrifice 1 or 2 of these guys by making them fight each other.

 

Margarito was actually the lamb to be slaughtered by Cotto. Funny how things work out. And Foreman is possibly the weakest of the 154 lb champions.

Arum already said that JuanMa and Gamboa is a fight that he's going to make big by letting it simmer for a bit. Business-wise, that makes more sense.

Top Rank source telling me that they have reached a deal to promote Guillermo Rigondeaux and have worked out an agreement with his current promoter to take over his career.


Paddy should clear things up if it's possible. Did TR work out an agreement with the manager and it's a Rafael mistake or they made a deal with someone else?
